Hello to all my friends in France. Even though I can not be with you this evening to accept this prestigious trophy I am so pleased to have this opportunity to send you this message so that all my fans french know how counted their support for me during all these years. It is hard to believe that 25 years ago with Quincy Jones we embarked on the adventure Thriller. Thriller The fact is that so far the album's most sold in the world is simply incredible. Therefore you, my fans around the world, I wish to thank for this feat
If this award honoured tonight for my career, I want to tell you that I still have so much to offer.
My passion for music has never stopped and for those who do not know, I was in the studio recently to record a new version of Thriller commemorating its 25th anniversary with surprise guests.
I sincerely hope that Thriller continues to be discovered by future generations.
